iQOO has announced the launch date of the upcoming flagship series, the iQOO 12. The smartphone series is expected to launch with two models; the standard one and the Pro model on November 7 in China. Apart from the launch date, the Chinese brand has also confirmed the smartphones will be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. In the latest development, the Chinese brand has also announced the India launch date of the iQOO 12.
iQOO will launch the iQOO 12 in India on December 12. However, the brand did not disclose whether it will bring the Pro model to India or not. iQOO has announced the India launch date on X (formerly Twitter), where the brand also disclosed the availability. The smartphone will be available for purchase on Amazon.

Furthermore, the iQOO 12 and iQOO 12 Pro appeared on China’s 3C listing recently, which revealed the smartphones will be supporting up to 120-watt of fast charging. Moving on, the iQOO 12 Pro has also been spotted on Geekbench listing, revealing the already-announced Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, Android 14 OS, and 16GB RAM.
The iQOO 12 series is just a few days away from debuting in China. However, already we have the full specifications of the smartphone, based on leaks, certification websites, and official announcements as well. Let’s take a look.
iQOO 12 expected specifications
The iQOO 12 is expected to feature a 6.78-inch 1.5K OLED display by BOE, which will support up to 144Hz refresh rate. Further, the display is rumoured to have 3000 nits of peak brightness.
Next up, we have already seen on the Geekbench listing that it could come with 16GB RAM, running on Android 14-based skin. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor was already confirmed by the brand. Along with that, the brand also revealed that the iQOO 12 will be equipped with a Q1 chip to enhance the gaming experience. Speaking of the battery, it could boast a 5000mAh battery. The 120-watt fast charging support has been also confirmed through China’s 3C listing.

Coming to the camera now, it is rumoured to have a triple camera setup on the back, holding a 50-megapixel OIS main camera, a 50-megapixel Ultra-wide lens, and a 64-megapixel Telephoto sensor with up to 3x optical zoom. On the front, we could see a 16-megapixel selfie shooter.
