iPhone SE now available with Rs 8,000 discount on Amazon, starts at Rs 17,999
The smaller iPhone SE is originally priced at Rs 26,000, however, Amazon is offering the 32GB variant of the smartphone at a discounted price of Rs 17,999.
Apple iPhone SE (32GB) has received a discount of Rs 8,000 on Amazon and it can now be purchased at a price of Rs 17,999. The smartphone was previously listed at Rs 26,000. Amazon is also offering up to Rs 15,000 off on exchange along with a no-cost EMI option starting at Rs 856.
The iPhone SE features a 4-inch HD Retina Display and is powered by the Apple A9 chipset. It comes with 2GB of RAM and two storage options of 32GB and 64GB. It sports a 12MP iSight rear camera and is equipped with a 1.2-megapixel front-facing camera.
A previous report tipped that Apple might launch its iPhone SE 2 in early 2018. It could sport a design similar to its predecessor and is rumoured to be assembled by Apple’s manufacturer Wistron in India, where some of the current iPhone SE’s are already assembled.
The iPhone SE 2 is expected to retain the physical home button with the TouchID feature. It could come with an upgraded A10 processor and sport a single rear camera sensor. The device may not sport a bezel-less look similar to Apple’s current flagship smartphone, the iPhone X.
Apple recently revised and raised the prices of all its iPhones selling in the country, except for the iPhone SE (as it’s assembled in India). This was done as the government announced its decision of raising import taxes on mobile phones, video cameras, and televisions. The 64GB and 128GB variants of the iPhone X are now priced at Rs 92,430 and Rs 1,05,000 against their original price of Rs 89,000 and Rs 1,02,000 respectively.
