As per Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple will unveil the next iPhone SE 4 in Spring 2025.

Reports suggest that Apple suppliers would begin ramping up mass production of the new device in October.

The last time Apple launched a SE version of the iPhone, was two and a half years back. You might be wondering why I am talking about the SE when Apple is gearing up for the iPhone 16 launch. Well, word on the street is that after the launch of the iPhone 16 series, Apple will also unveil the iPhone SE 4 in 2025.

As per Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple will unveil the next iPhone SE 4 in Spring 2025. If we look at Apple’s timeline, all three previous iPhone SE models were introduced in March. So it is quite possible that Apple will also drop the successor to the series around the same time.

Even Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo and The Information said that Apple could launch the iPhone SE 4 in the first quarter of 2025. Further, reports suggest that Apple suppliers would begin ramping up mass production of the new device in October.

iPhone SE 4 expected details

The current generation iPhone SE packs a 4.7-inch LCD display and it is powered by an A15 Bionic chip. You get features such as Touch ID on it and it offers 5G support too with a Qualcomm chip. Additionally, it has a 12-megapixel rear camera and a Lightning port.

With the upcoming iPhone SE 4, we might see a major design change. With the new design changes, it can look a lot more like the iPhone 14.

If rumours are to be believed, it can pack a 6.1-inch OLED display, an A18 chip, and Face ID instead of Touch ID. Also, it can feature a USB-C port instead of the Lightning port, in line with Apple’s recent updates. It is expected to come with 8GB of RAM and might have Apple Intelligence.

Plus it might also have an Action Button and an Apple-designed 5G chip, to enhance connectivity. On the camera front also we might see a big upgrade. We might get to see a 48MP rear camera.

Lastly, it can be priced between $400 and $500.
