A new leaked image that surfaced today suggested that the upcoming iPhone 7 might have features like wireless charging and water resistance. According to Playfuldroid, the leaked images was taken during the official Foxconn conference. The leaked image showcases a dual-camera setup on the iPhone 7 Plus. This falls in line with previous rumours about Apple going for a dual-camera setup on the upcoming iPhone 7 Plus.
According to the website, the iPhone 7 will be running on iOS 10, which is somewhat obvious. It will not feature a 3.5mm audio port, which has now been reported and affirmed by a lot of websites. Another report by WSJ claims that Apple will increase base storage of the iPhone 7 to 32GB, alongside slimming down the iPhone. The report also suggests that the iPhone 7 will have 256GB storage in the top variant. The dual-camera setup, though, might be available on only the Plus model. We might also see the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus sporting 3GB of RAM, an upgrade from the 2GB of RAM that present generation iPhones hold.
Unfortunately, even with upgraded internal configuration, the iPhone 7 is not expected to present a new design, and present subtle changes. Changes are expected to be made to the home button and the arrangement of antenna bands, along with a possible new 'Space Black' variant. The iPhone is admittedly overdue for a cosmetic upgrade, and Apple is possibly targeting the iPhone's 10th anniversary edition in 2017 to present more significant changes and upgrades.
