The iPhone 6s and the 6s Plus, Apple’s latest flagship smartphones have seen a price drop. The iPhone 6s 16GB variant, which was launched at Rs. 62,000 is now available between Rs. 52,000 and Rs 55,000 at retail outlets. It looks like Apple cut the price of the new iPhones to cope with the lackluster sales of its flagship smartphone in India. This is the first time that Apple has dropped the price of its flagship smartphone within two months of launch. Apple imported almost 3,20,000 iPhones in October in India. Shipments have plummeted since then, and latest data suggests that imports of the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus fell 62% to 120,000 in November.
