Apple’s next iPhone series will most likely launch this year in September, according to Apple’s iPhone launch cycle. This year it would be the iPhone 16 series which could include the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max as usual. Apple still has more than 6 months to reveal the iPhone 16 series and its features. However, like every time, rumours have found their way to the internet. Recently, a new rumour has surfaced on the internet claiming a battery upgrade. Apart from that, some more tipped information about the upcoming iPhone series has been doing rounds on the internet. Let’s talk about the fresh rumour first, the battery upgrade. A tipster known as MajinBuOfficial on X (formerly Twitter) posted that the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, and iPhone 16 Pro Max will be equipped with bigger batteries than their predecessors. The iPhone 16 is said to feature a 3561mAh battery, a 4006mAh battery for the Plus variant, and a 4676mAh battery for the Pro Max variant. Along with that tip, he also stated that the Pro Max model will feature a redesigned battery and it won’t be L-shaped.
The next leak is about the design of the iPhone 16 series. Reports on the internet are claiming a better manufacturing process for the Titanium chassis of Pro devices. This means we could see the famous Titanium frame in the iPhones again. Furthermore, Macrumors reported a huge tip, claiming bigger displays in the Pro variants. The iPhone 16 Pro could feature a 6.27-inch display, while the Pro Max might have a 6.86-inch display. Apart from that, another report from Sparrownews claims a vertical camera setup in the base iPhone 16 models.

Lastly, there is a leak about cameras of Pro variants. They are said to use 1MG+7P moulded glass-plastic modules for the improved optical performance of the lens. Next, the report also says that the iPhone 16 Pro Max will be equipped with a 1/1.14-inch Sony IMX903 main sensor.
