Apple just unveiled its latest iPhone 16 series. As expected, it includes four variants: the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and the iPhone 16 Pro Max. This time Apple has added some crazy features with the iPhone 16 series, including Apple Intelligence features as well. More on that later, I am here to talk to you more about the Indian prices of all the variants first. Let’s get to it straight, shall we?
So Apple has unveiled two base variants, just like last year: the iPhone 16 and the iPhone 16 Plus. The vanilla iPhone 16 will start at Rs 79,900 in India. The iPhone 16 Plus will cost Rs 10,000 extra and will start at Rs 89,900.
Moving on, the Pro models this time are cheaper than the iPhone 15 Pro models. Apple has launched the iPhone 16 Pro in India at a starting price of Rs 1,19,900 and the boss of it all, the top-end iPhone 16 Pro Max will cost Rs 1,44,900.
All these devices are available for pre-orders from September 13 in India and will be available for purchase from September 20.
So those were the prices of all four iPhone 16 smartphones. This time we are seeing major upgrades, especially with Apple Intelligence. It loads a lot of AI features on devices, some of which we have already seen with other devices too.
The iPhone 16 and 16 Plus feature 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch OLED displays that are protected by Ceramic Shield. Moreover, they are powered by the A18 Bionic chip and feature a dual-rear camera setup, including a 48-megapixel main lens and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens.
Apart from that, they also include a new camera control button on the right side of the panel, AI-driven features, and improvements like natural language search and a redesigned Photos app. Both models also support spatial photo and video capture.

The iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max have larger OLED displays, with the Pro at 6.3 inches and the Pro Max at 6.9 inches. They feature a Grade 5 Titanium frame and are powered by the A18 Pro chipset. Both models come with a 48-megapixel main camera, 48-megapixel ultra-wide, and a 12-megapixel telephoto lens with up to 5x optical zoom.
They also come with AI features like improved Siri, transcription tools, Genmoji, and more.
