Be it Apple fans or haters, we all wait for Apple to drop new iPhones. Apple usually launches iPhones in September every year, and the same is expected for the iPhone 16 series. Like every year, this year also, Apple is expected to launch the iPhone 16 with some new and exciting upgrades. Rumours and leaks have revealed a lot about the upcoming iPhone 16 lineup. In this article, I will tell you a few rumoured changes between the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro.
iPhone 16 Pro vs iPhone 16: What’s different?
Let’s talk about design first. Previously, some leaked pictures revealed that the standard iPhone 16 models could have a lifted vertical camera module this time. On the other hand, the Pro models will feature the same squarish camera island. Moreover, the iPhone 16 is expected to have the same aluminium frame, while the iPhone 16 Pro could feature an improved titanium frame.
Next is the camera. The iPhone 16 will probably have a dual camera setup, while the iPhone 16 Pro is expected to have a triple camera setup. Now, what’s interesting is that the Pro model is rumoured to have three 48-megapixel sensors. Apart from that, it could also have up to 5x optical zoom, which is currently available in the Pro Max variant only.
The iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max users faced overheating issues with the smartphones. Many trolled the brand and the smartphone also on X (formerly Twitter). To fix that, Apple is reportedly working on the Graphene Thermal System in the iPhone 16 Pro. What’s that? The Graphene Thermal System is said to be a case for the battery that will reduce the heat coming out of it.
One more big difference could be the storage. The iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max are rumoured to have up to 2TB storage. Currently, we have iPhone 15 Pro models that come with up to 1TB storage. Like the iPhone 15, the iPhone 16 is expected to offer up to 512GB storage only.
