Now, along with everything else, the camera has to be on the upgrade list. Word is that Apple might include a 48-megapixel ultrawide lens this time around. Last year, the iPhone 15 Pro Max had a 12-megapixel ultrawide lens.

Lastly, considering it’s going to be a big phone, a battery upgrade is also expected. Apple is rumored to include a 4676mAh battery in the iPhone 16 Pro Max. In comparison, the iPhone 15 Pro Max had a 4441mAh battery.

The iPhone 15 Pro Max supports 27-watt fast charging currently, however, the iPhone 16 Pro Max is rumoured to increase that number. If rumours are to be believed, the iPhone 16 Pro Max might come with 40-watt fast charging.
More software updates
Apple offers five years of software updates with its iPhones. So the latest iPhone 16 Pro Max will receive the software updates till 2029, whereas, the iPhone 15 Pro Max will get these updates till 2028.
