As September approaches, the excitement around the upcoming iPhone 16 series is building massively. As always, Apple is tight-lipped about what might happen during the launch. However, the rumours and leaks on the internet are giving us hope. A new leak that has surfaced online gives us hints at the possibly new iPhone 16 design. Let’s see what we know so far.
TechNetBook has shared certain images of the iPhone 16 casing. This gives us a slight hint at what the new iPhone 16 can look like. We can even point out certain design changes. According to these rumours, Apple might go back to a vertical camera setup and might also introduce an improved camera button.

These leaked images show that the vanilla iPhone 16 variant can have a vertical camera module as there is a vertical cutout. In addition to that, there is also a cutout for a physical camera shutter button. This aligns with the previous rumours.
Speaking about the camera button, rumours suggest that it can be powered by a haptic engine. Users will be able to focus on a subject with a soft tap and capture a photo with a second tap. Just like a normal camera shutter button. Don’t get confused, this will be separate from the Action Button.
Other than that, the iPhone 16 series could be powered by the A18 or A17 Pro chip, depending on the model. We might also get to see battery improvements on the upcoming iPhone series. But for now, let’s take this all with a pinch of salt as there’s still time for the launch of the iPhone series.
