After iOS 18.1, Apple is gearing up to launch the iOS 18.2 update next month. With this new update, new Apple Intelligence features are coming. However, these AI-powered features will only be limited to the iPhone 16 series, as well as the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. Let’s quickly take a look at five major AI features that are coming along with iOS 18.2.

5 new features coming with iOS 18.2

Improved Camera Controls

Firstly, iPhone 16 users will now get more camera control features with iOS 18.2. It introduces new settings to prevent accidental camera activation and to lock auto exposure and focus with a light press on the Camera Control button.

Visual Intelligence

With Visual Intelligence, users can get insights when the camera is pointed at locations or objects. You can do things like identifying the business hours of a restaurant to searching for items online. You don’t have to type anything.

Image Playground

Image Playground is being introduced with this new update. The new Image Playground app allows users to create stylized images based on prompts. There are multiple customization options that users can use to generate creative content.

Genmoji

One of the most anticipated features is here- Genmoji. It allows users to create custom emojis based on their descriptions. It allows users to add a personal touch to it. Unlike standard emojis, Genmojis aren’t Unicode-based, but they display in any Apple app supporting rich text.

Siri and ChatGPT Integration

This has been one of the most interesting collaborations of the year. With ChatGPT integration, we might get to see enhanced Siri capabilities. It will be able to respond to complex requests and in-depth content creation directly through Siri.

Apart from this, there are other features also coming out with iOS 18.2 with which Apple hopes to enhance the user experience.
