iOS 18.1 with Apple Intelligence is coming this week: Here is the list of eligible iPhones for it
Apple is finally rolling out these AI features with a new iOS 18 update.
In total, 6 iPhone variants are compatible with Apple Intelligence.
It includes all four phones of iPhone 16 lineup, iPhone 15 Pro, and the iPhone 15 Pro Max.
For a couple of months now, Apple has been talking a lot about Apple Intelligence. The Cupertino-based tech giant first spoke about Apple Intelligence during its WWDC conference in June. The new iPhone 16 series was also promoted as “AI-ready”. But Apple unveiled its latest iPhone 16 series back in September without it. Now, finally, after a long wait to witness Apple Intelligence, the company is finally rolling out these AI features with a new iOS 18 update.
Apple will soon roll out Apple Intelligence features with the iOS18.1 update. However, with this update, only the initial few AI features will be brought out, the other features will be rolled out with subsequent updates. In addition to that, sadly, Apple Intelligence will only be available on a few iPhones.
Apple Intelligence is coming to which iPhones?
Apple Intelligence will work on all of the four new iPhone 16s. From the previous generations, only the Pro variants will be able to run it. So in total, 6 iPhone variants are compatible with it.

Apple will roll out iOS18.1 on October 28. Here are a few interesting features that you can look out for:
1) Siri: After a long time, Siri will get a new “AI” upgrade. It will become more natural, context-aware, and significantly smarter.
2) Writing Tools: With Apple Intelligence, we will also get to see some AI-powered writing tools. These will help users with proofreading, rewriting text in a specified tone, and offering quick replies to messages or emails.
3) Summaries: Apple Intelligence can generate easy-to-read summaries for emails, phone calls, audio recordings, and even notifications.
4) New Photo Features: There will be new features that users can try out in the Photos app now. This includes the Clean Up feature to remove unwanted people or objects from the background and Memory Movie which creates slideshows based on written prompts, and enhanced natural language search.
