After announcing its new iOS 18 version during WWDC 2024 in June, and then releasing the developer beta versions, iOS 18’s public beta is now live. If you are someone who wants to get their hands on the new iOS 18 features a tad bit early, then you can get your hands on the public beta as it is a lot more refined as compared to developer beta versions. Plus, it is easier to set up too. Read along as I will tell you how you can set up the public beta version of iOS 18 on your iPhones.
But before heading there, let’s first recall what all we’re getting with iOS 18.
Along with iOS 18, Apple also announced Apple Intelligence, so many AI features will come with iOS 18. You will get features like AI photo editing and writing assistance tools, semantic index, etc. You also get some Android-like features such as a Photos app, a more customizable Control Center, and enhanced home screen personalization options. However, the AI features are not featured in the public beta just yet. You will have to wait a little longer for that.
Before getting to the process, ensure your device is running at least iOS 16.4.
