Apple has finally heard your prayers and a fix for the overheating issue is on its way. The answer to this problem is a new update, iOS 17.0.3. Apple has started to roll out this update which is mainly focused at solving iPhone 15’s heating issue. The update however is not limited to iPhone 15 and is available for other models too. Let’s find out more about this update.

Firstly, iOS 17.0.3 is mainly brought out to deal with the heating issues. Apple has been testing this out internationally for a while now and it is finally out now, hopefully, to solve the issues once and for all.

Speaking of heating issues, for the longest time, people blamed Apple’s switch to a  titanium chassis as it is a better conductor of heat. But Apple rejected those claims and said that users were experiencing overheating issues because of a bug caused because of apps like Instagram and Asphalt 9: Legends.

Secondly, the new update i.e. iOS 17.0.3, aims to fix certain other bugs and also offers security updates. At the same time, for iPad users, Apple has also released the iPadOS 17.0.3 update. If you want to update your device, go to Settings, then General, and then go to Software Updates and select the update available for you.

Before this, Apple had released the iOS 17.0.2 update that was also aimed at fixing the issues with the previous update and offered no new features.

While Apple is fixing things for the users, it is the iOS 17.1 that will offer some new features when it comes out.
