Intex Technologies has launched a new smartphone, Intex Aqua Ace, for Rs. 12,999. The device is dual-SIM and 4G LTE compatible. It also comes with 1-year screen breakage warranty along with a sensor-based flip cover.

The Aqua Ace sports a 5-inch Super AMOLED HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Under the hood, it is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT 6735 chipset clocked at 1.3 GHz along with 3GB of RAM. It has a 13MP rear camera and 5MP front camera. The phone offers 16GB of internal storage out of which only 10.37GB is available for the user. It also support microSD card expansion which can be used to increase the storage up to 128GB. The whole package is powered by a 2300mAh battery and runs on Android Lollipop 5.1 out of the box. It measures 145 x 71.5 x 6.7mm and weighs 121.5 grams. It also comes pre-loaded with various games like Bubble Bash, Danger Dash, All Star Cricket Free, and Spiderman.

The newly launched smartphone is the latest member of Intex’s Aqua family of smartphones. Recently, the company has launched Aqua Power II and the device comes with a 4,000mAh battery at a price tag of Rs. 6,490. The phone also has 5-inch HD display and quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz coupled with 1GB of RAM. It offers 8GB of internal storage and runs on Android Lollipop v5.1.

Intex has also ventured in other categories other than smartphones. It launched an 11000mAh PB11K power bank yesterday. It features three USB 2.0 ports along with four LEDs for indicating the level of battery remaining. The power bank has dimensions 142 x 63 x 26mm and the weight is around 280 grams. The power bank is priced at Rs. 1,099 and is available through Amazon, Snapdeal, and Paytm. The company also has an Android-powered smartwatch IRist in its product portfolio.
