Intex has launched the Aqua Style dual-SIM phablet for Rs. 11,200. The device has a massive 5.9-inch display and runs on Android 4.0.4 ICS.
The Intex Aqua Style is available on online shopping sites for Rs. 11,280. The device is yet another addition to Intex’s phablets lineup, which includes the Aqua 5.0. The Aqua Style has a candybar form factor and boasts of dual-SIM (GSM GSM) capabilities.
The Aqua Style has a massive 5.9-inch display with a 480×800 pixel resolution. Under the hood, a 1GHz dual-core cortex A9 processor along with 512MB of RAM powers the device. It has an 8MP rear-facing camera along with a 1.3MP front facing snapper for video calling.
The device is relatively slim at 11mm and weighs a mere 228.4gms. It also houses a 2500mAh battery. In terms of storage it has 1GB built-in expandable up to 32GB via a microSD card.
The Aqua Style boasts of 3G, Wi-Fi and USB connectivity. It can also be used as a Wi-Fi hotspot. Other features of the device include audio equalizer, sound recorder, English and Hindi language support, Mobile Tracker, torch, auto call record, caller group, reject by SMS, black list, games, Flip Mute, screen face unlock, Smart Screen Capture and MMS Enabled.
The display of the device is really large at 5.9-inches. There is just one other budget device that we have come across that boasts of a similar display – the Karbonn A30. Priced at Rs. 11,400 the A30 runs on Android 4.0 ICS, boasts of dual-SIM capabilities and under the hood has a 1GHz dual-core processor, along with 512MB of RAM. The device A30 has more built in storage than the Aqua Style at 4GB of which 2.5GB is available to the user. The A30 also has an 8MP rear camera and a 1.3MP front facing camera.

In the past, Intex launched the Aqua 5.0 to take on the likes of the Micromax Canvas 2 A110 and the plethora of other budget 5-inch phablets. The Intex Aqua 5.0 runs on Android 4.0.4 ICS, has a 5-inch display with a 480×800 pixel resolution. It has Built-in Storage of 4GB upgradable via a microSD card.
