Intex has announced a new budget Android smartphone in its Aqua series, priced at Rs 6,555. Named Aqua Prime 4G, the company is touting the front camera to be its selling point. The Intex Aqua Prime 4G features a 2MP fixed focus front camera with single LED flash, f/2.0 aperture lens and can also record videos. It also sports an 8MP rear camera with autofocus and dual LED flash.
The Intex Aqua Prime 4G sports a 5.5-inch 720p HD display and comes with a TP protection film on top. The handset is 8.3mm thick and weighs around 158 grams, with screen-to-body ratio of 70 percent. The Intex Aqua Prime 4G is powered by a 1GHz quad-core MediaTek processor coupled with Mali 760-MP1 GPU. The handset offers 1GB RAM and 8GB native storage expandable up to 32GB.
The smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and supports 4G LTE. The Intex Aqua Prime 4G features a 2800mAh battery with rated talktime of 11 hours. It also combines SOS options and offers WiFi 802.11n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS, and will be available in White, Grey and Champagne colour options.
