Intex has launched the Aqua Power II smartphone, with a 4,000 mAh battery. The device cost Rs. 6,490 and Intex claims it provides 15 hours of talktime. Other specifications of the phone include a 5-inch display with 720p resolution and is powered by a 1.3Ghz quad-core Spectrum SC7731 chipset along with 1GB of RAM. The device comes with a 5MP rear and a 2MP front facing camera. The phone runs Android Lollipop v5.1 and comes with 8GB of storage that can be expanded up to 32GB.
The phone comes with a number of preloaded apps like Myntra, Quickr, Clean Mater, Intex Play, Intex Service, I Store, Chaatz, Skype, and NewsHunt. It also comes with Gesture Control and is available in White, Black, and Champagne.
The Intex Aqua Power II isn’t the only phone to be launched with a 4000mAh battery though. Yesterday, Micromax launched the Juice 3 and the Juice 3+. Both these smartphones are powered by a 1.3Ghz quad-core processor and 2GB of RAM. The Juice 3 has a 5-inch display and is priced at Rs. 8,999 but was listed on an e-commerce website for Rs. 8,762. The Juice 3+ has a 5.5-inch display and will be available by the end of September.
If you are looking for a phone for around the same price, then you should also check out the Karbonn Aura 9, which was launched last month for Rs. 6,390. The Aura 9 has a 5-inch IPS-LCD display and support for 21 Indian languages. It is powered by a 1.2Ghz quad core processor and 1GB of RAM. The phone has an 8MP camera at the back and a 5MP front facing camera.
