HIGHLIGHTS

The Lenovo K900 has a dual-core Intel Clover Trail+ CPU, a 5.5-inch 1080p display and will launch in May.

First shown off at CES 2013, the Intel Clover Trail Powered Lenovo K900 will launch to the public on May 6th. The smartphone will run on the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS. It will be quite slim at 6.9mm and will show off a 5.5-inch display and have a stainless steel and polycarbonate body.

The processor on the Lenovo K900 is clocked at 2GHz and it also supports 2GB of RAM. The 5.5-inch display will have a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels giving it a 440 pixel density. The smartphone also boasts of wireless display capabilities. It has 16GB built-in storage expandable up to 32GB via a microSD card. It also boasts of super fast charging capabilities reaching 100 percent in 90 minutes.

The rear of the K900 has a 13MP camera and features the Sony Exmor RS lens, the same that is found on the Xperia Z. The device will be unleashed in China in May and there is no information available about a global release date or price.

With a 5.5-inch full HD display, the K900 comes at par with some flagship smartphones including the likes of the HTC One, HTC Butterfly, Samsung Galaxy S4, Sony Xperia Z and more. What remains to be seen is how the device performs in the real world and how it compares to the competition with benchmarks.
