InFocus launched two new smartphones in the budget segment – the M350 and M530. The new smartphones will sell exclusively on Snapdeal, like the InFocus M2 and M330. Sale begins on June 26th, 12pm onwards.
The InFocus M350 has a curved plastic back, with a 5” 720×1280 pixels HD IPS display. It is powered by MediaTek MT6732 1.5GHz quad-core processor, and has 2GB of RAM. Both the primary and front cameras are specced at 8 megapixels. On first impression, the device felt comfortable in hand, owing to the curved back. The screen, however, appeared a little dull, and colours seemed flat. The InFocus M350 will be sold for Rs. 7,999.

The Infocus M530, in contrast to the M350, feels bulky in hand. It houses a 5.5” 720×1280 pixels HD IPS display, which too seemed to have a similar lack of overall sharpness and colour precision as the display on the M350. It is powered by a MediaTek MT6595 octa-core SoC running at 2GHz, along with 2GB of RAM. The primary and front cameras have 13 megapixel sensors, and the primary camera has an f/1.8 aperture and Optical Image Stabilisation, which seemed to take really good photographs in the short duration we spent with it. We wait to find out more about the M530, which is priced at Rs. 10,999.
While the InFocus M530 will be up for open sale when it is launched on June 26th, buyers will need to pre-register via Snapdeal to purchase the InFocus M350. The registration process is already open.
