Infinix has already confirmed that the Note 50x 5G will launch on March 27, featuring the segment’s first gem-cut module in India. Ahead of the launch, sources have revealed to Times Now Tech that the successor to the Note 40x is expected to be priced under Rs 15,000.
Sources have also revealed that the Note 50x 5G is set to come loaded with AI-powered features, running on Infinix’s latest XOS 15 software.
Here’s a closer look at the AI features that might come to the Infinix Note 50x:
- AI Writing Assistant: This tool allows users to select text in apps like WhatsApp or Notepad and use AI to expand, rewrite (in friendly, professional, or concise styles), check grammar, or summarise content. It can even summarise articles directly from a browser.
- Folax AI voice assistant: Folax offers personalised, context-aware responses and supports text, voice, and image inputs. It can handle tasks like setting reminders, answering questions, and managing day-to-day activities.
- Document Assistant: With One-Tap Summarisation, users can quickly extract the key points from long texts with just a tap.
- AI Wallpaper Generator: This feature transforms text or images into custom, stylised wallpapers using AI.

- Notepad AI Note: Users can turn simple sketches into detailed, themed images with the AI Note tool.
- Call Assistant: This AI-powered tool provides real-time call translation, automatic call summarisation, and an AI auto-answer option.
- AI Cutout: The new AI Cutout feature, available in the AI Gallery, lets users create custom stickers from their favourite images.
- Circle to Search: Users can circle, highlight, or scribble on anything on their screen to search for it instantly, without switching apps.
- Social Assistant: This feature includes Dual View, a Voice Changer for playful voice effects, and Fill Light.
- AIGC Portrait Mode: This mode offers four creative templates for transforming photos and even generates realistic avatars in different backgrounds.
If Infinix indeed offers all these AI features with the Note 50x, it could set a new benchmark for budget smartphones.
