Magnetic wireless charging, like Apple’s MagSafe, uses magnets to attach the charger to the device. It’s convenient because the magnets ensure a secure connection.
On the other hand, regular wireless charging doesn’t use magnets. Instead, it works by using electromagnetic induction, which is the transmission of electrical energy through a magnetic field. The device needs to be placed precisely on the charging pad to work properly.
