Infinix has launched its first entry-level smartphone for 2024, the Infinix Hot 50 5G. This smartphone is said to be the “slimmest and most reliable” smartphone in its segment. It comes with a 7.8mm thin body and is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 5G chipset. Infinix has launched the Hot 50 5G in India at a starting price of Rs 9,999, and there are some launch discounts as well. So, let me tell you more about this smartphone.

Infinix Hot 50 5G specifications

The Infinix Hot 50 5G comes in four colour options; the Dreamy Purple featuring a vegan leather back and Sleek Black, Sage Green, and Vibrant Blue with a shimmering finish. It has a 6.7-inch HD+ display that supports a 120Hz refresh rate. Moreover, this phone runs on Infinix’s XOS 14 based on Android 14 OS. As I mentioned above, the Infinix Hot 50 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 5G processor paired with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB storage.

The Hot 50 5G comes with a dual camera setup, holding a 48-megapixel main camera. For selfies, there is an 8-megapixel selfie shooter. Furthermore, it is packed with a 5,000mAh battery with 18-watt fast charging. Lastly, with its TUV SUD certification, Infinix promises five years of smooth performance.

Price and Availability

The Infinix Hot 50 5G has been launched in India at a starting price of Rs 9,999 for the 4GB RAM variant. The top variant (8GB 128GB) is priced at Rs 10,999. If you are interested in buying this smartphone, you can avail of an additional Rs 1,000 discount on select bank cards. The first sale of this smartphone is going live on Flipkart on September 9.
