Infinix has released a new budget phone in the sub-10K price bracket called the Hot 12 Play. The phone had debuted in other markets including our neighboring markets earlier this month. Now that, it has been unveiled in our country, let’s have a look at all that’s offered for the asking price. For starters, it has got a Unisoc T610 chip, Android 11 OS, 4+64GB memory configuration, a 6000mAh cell, and a 90Hz HD+ screen.
Infinix Hot 12 Play’s front is a 6.82-inch IPS TFT touchscreen with 720×1612 pixels resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. There’s a punch-hole cutout housing an 8MP selfie camera with dual flash.
The back of the phone is home to a 13MP primary shooter and a 2MP supporter.
The Hot 12 Play ships with Android 11-based XOS software. The performance is taken care of by a Unisoc T610 processor, 4GB of RAM (with support for an additional 3GB VRAM), and 64GB of onboard storage. A 6000mAh battery keeps the phone alive and is aided by a 10W charger.
Among other things, you also get a USB-C port, up to 512GB memory card with a dedicated slot, a rear-mounted fingerprint reader, a 3.5mm headphone jack, WiFi ac, and Bluetooth.
Infinix has priced the Hot 12 Play in India at ₹8,499. You can purchase the phone through Flipkart from May 30. You can also avail of a 5% cashback using an Axis Bank card as well as an EMI option of ₹295 a month. The available color options are Racing Black, Horizon Blue, and Racing Black.
