The Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2024 is currently underway and a lot of tech companies have come with their best foot. A lot of technologies, new gadgets, and experiences have taken center stage in Barcelona, Spain. Today I am going to talk about one such brand, Infinix, and its tech display at the MWC 2024.

Infinix, a Hong Kong-based company, displayed its latest gaming technology at the MWC 2024, along with a gaming smartphone that we will get to see in the near future, the Infinix GT Ultra. This technology combines the power of the flagship MediaTek Dimensity 9300 processor along with Infinix’s CoolMax System, along with AI optimization. Let’s see what this technology is capable of.

Infinix Gaming Technology

MWC 2024 Infinix GT Ultra

Infinix is currently promoting its flagship gaming technology, as I mentioned earlier. It delivers extreme gaming performance by functioning on four key aspects which include processor, cooling, graphics, and AI optimisation. We already know that the processor here is the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 processor and the cooling part is taken care of by the CoolMax technology.

Now this CoolMax technology regulates temperature by using thermal-electric cooling (TEC) and the Peltier effect. It claims that because of this the device can drop up to 10 degrees Celsius in temperature.

In addition to this, Infinix is incorporating Pixelworks visual processors which will help provide refresh rates of up to 180Hz for FHD+ and 144Hz for WQHD+ resolution displays. And lastly what the AI does here is that it dynamically adjusts core utilisation based on the requirements.

MWC 2024 Infinix GT Ultra

All this combined made Infinix reach a really good and high AnTuTu score of 22,15,639.

In the near future we can hopefully see these technologies get incorporated into Infinix’s flagship gaming smartphone, the Infinix GT Ultra. It is expected to pack the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC and compete with RedMagic and ASUS ROG phones.
