Images and specifications alleged to be of an upcoming LeEco smartphone have been leaked by Chinese website, My Drivers. The device will reportedly be called the Le 2 and may be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 or a MediaTek Helio X20 processor, along with 4GB of RAM. It may have a 21MP primary camera and a USB Type-C port. The phone may also come with a ultrasonic fingerprint sensor at the back and a metallic build.
If the device does end up being called the Le 2, it is possible that it could be a successor to the Le 1s that was launched in India in January. The Le 1s is priced at Rs. 10,999 and comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD display. It is powered by MediaTek’s last generation flagship chipset, Helio X10, and has 3GB of RAM. LeEco (formerly known as LeTV), already have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 powered device in the market called the Le Max Pro. The device was launched in China last month for CNY 1,999 (approx. Rs. 20,700), making it the first Snapdragon 820 powered phone available for purchase.
