IFA 2013: Lenovo showcases Vibe X smartphone with 5-inch display and quad-core processor
Lenovo has unveiled the Vibe X smartphone at IFA 2013. The smartphone has a 5-inch 1080p display and runs on the MediaTek MT6589T chipset.
At IFA 2013, Lenovo unveiled the Vibe X smartphone that will launch for the Chinese market. The device has a 5-inch display with 1920×1080 pixel resolution. The device will launch in China in October and in December in other markets where Lenovo has a smartphone presence.
The Vibe X runs on the MediaTek MT6589T chipset with the CPU clocked at 1.5GHz. The device also has 2GB of RAM. The smartphone boasts of a polycarbonate body, is 6.9mm in thickness and weighs 120 grams. It runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and the rear houses a 13MP camera along with a 5MP front-facing camera for video calling. It comes with 16GB built-in storage. There is no information available about the battery capacity on the smartphone.
Lenovo has launched quite a few smartphones in India in the past. One of their most notable recent smartphones has to be the Lenovo K900. The device runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, has a 5.5-inch 1080p display, 2GB RAM and is powered by the Intel Atom Z2580 chipset with the CPU clocked at 2GHz.
