Huawei has posted a teaser image for the upcoming P9 smartphone and the image confirms the dual rear camera setup. The image also revealed that the phone will launch next month. Previous reports and leaked images have suggested that Huawei might use the camera configuration for the phone. Not much else was revealed by the teaser, but the company is expected to use two 12MP cameras at the back of the phone with a 5MP front camera.
Previous reports have suggested that the Huawei P9 might come with a 5.2-inch Full HD display and may be powered by a Kirin 950 SoC with 3GB of RAM. The device has been tipped to come with 32GB of storage with a 3000mAh battery. It is also expected to run Android Marshmallow v6.0 with EMUI layered over it. In addition, there are reports that Huawei may launch multiple variants of the P9 besides the standard variant. The P9 Max and P9 Enhanced variants are tipped to come with 6.8-inch and 6.2-inch displays. Both are expected to be powered by the Kirin 955 SoC with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. The Huawei P9 Lite is tipped to come with a smaller 5-inch display and may be powered by a Snapdragon 650 chipset with 2GB of RAM and 16GB storage. The devices will most likely be launched on April 6.
