Images alleged to be of the Huawei P9 have been leaked by VentureBeat. The images show a dual-camera setup at the back, along with a fingerprint scanner. There is also a USB-C port located at the bottom of the device. According to the report, the images were shared by a person who was given “some hands-on time” with it.
According to VentureBeat’s source, the Huawei P9 comes with a 5.2-inch Full HD display and is powered by a HiSilicon Kirin 950 SoC with Mali T880 GPU. The phone might also come with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage. The device has been tipped to come with a 3900mAh battery and run on Android Marshmallow v6.0.1. In addition, the source claims that the dual-camera setup at the back consists of two 12MP sensors, with lenses made by Leica. A few days ago, Huawei announced that it was partnering with Leica to improve the imaging capabilities of its smartphone.
