Huawei has officially unveiled P8 and P8max smartphones. The P8 is a 5.2-inch full HD smartphone while the P8max sports a 6.8-inch full HD display.
The Huawei P8 is successor to the original Ascend P7 (drops the Ascend moniker). The smartphone follows the design philosophy of its predecessors as it features a metal frame and a slim 6.4mm body. It has a 64-bit octa-core Kirin 935 chipset Cortex A53 processor along with 3GB of RAM.
It comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel one on the front. The rear camera has a sensor capturing light in RGBW (red-green-blue-white) pattern, optical image stabilization. The camera can offset vibrations with an angle of up to 1.6°, which is said to be two-fold of what the iPhone 6 Plus camera offers. The phone has an an independent image processor, which is supposed to deliver DSLR-quality images.
Other features of the phone include dual-SIM LTE and a 2,680mAh battery. The standard version of the P8 is priced at €499 (£360 or $531), while the premium variant comes for €599 (£430 or $637). Check out Full details about the P8 here

The P8max is a bigger variant of the P8. The 6.8-inch smartphone is powered by Quad-core 2.2 GHz Cortex-A53 & quad-core 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 along with 3 GB of RAM. It sports 13MP camera with 4160 x 3120 pixels, autofocus, optical image stabilization, dual-LED (dual tone) flash and 5 MP secondary camera.
Other features include 4360 mAh battery, dual-SIM connectivity, support for additional 64GB internal storage. The 16GB version is priced at €550 amd €650 for the 64GB model. Read more: Details about the P8max here
