Huawei's latest flagship P30 Pro smartphone was recently launched in India and is now available for purchase in the country. The handset is meant to appeal to consumers who need better imaging capabilities from a mobile phone as it comes equipped with a Leica Quad-camera setup. It sports a Full HD+ Curved OLED display and is backed by a 4,200mAh battery that, like the Mate 20 Pro, supports reverse wireless charging other supported devices. The device is now available for purchase via Amazon and Croma stores, but read on to find more about the device and the launch offers.

Huawei P30 Pro specifications

The Huawei P30 Pro is powered by the company’s 7nm Kirin 980 processor and is equipped with a graphene cooling film that the company claims keeps the temperature in check. It sports a 6.47-inch Full HD+ Curved OLED display (DCI-P3 HDR) that offers a 2340x1080p resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. There is an in-display optical fingerprint sensor as well, which is said to be 30 percent faster than the previous generation.

Coming to the P30 Pro’s USP, the camera, it features a Leica Quad-camera setup on the back. It consists of a 40MP main camera f/1.6 aperture lens, a 20MP ultra-wide angle camera with f/2.2 aperture lens, an 8MP telephoto camera with 5X Telephoto lens (f/3.4 aperture) and a Time-of-Flight (ToF) sensor. On the front, it gets a 32MP sensor with AI HDR+ capabilities. Huawei says that the device’s camera uses a 1/1.7-inch Huawei SuperSpectrum Sensor with an RYYB Bayer filter that is touted to capture 40 percent more light. On the P30-Series phones, the Huawei SuperZoom Lens supports 3X optical zoom, 5X hybrid zoom and 50X times digital zoom.

The P30 Pro is equipped with Acoustic Display Technology, which employs an in-screen maglev speaker for delivering earpiece audio. The phone runs on EMUI 9.1, atop Android 9 Pie and is also IP68 rated. The phone is backed by a 4200mAh battery that supports 40W fast charging, along with 15W wireless charging.

The Huawei P30 Pro is priced at Rs 71,990 in India and is available starting today via Amazon India and Croma. Available in Breathing Crystal and Aurora colours, there are also some launch offers for early birds.

One can buy the Huawei Watch GT worth Rs 15,990 by paying Rs 2,000, when buying the phone. There is also a six month free screen protection plan worth Rs 20,000, along with a 5 percent cashback on the P30 Pro when buying it between April 15 and April 17. One can also purchase the handset on a no-cost EMI scheme on Amazon and ICICI bank credit and debit card customers can also avail an instant discount of upto Rs 1,500 on EMI with the handset.

Jio customers buying the P30 Pro will get to avail a Rs 2,200 cashback and Double Data for five recharge. Customers can avail benefits worth Rs 7,800 (can include Make My Trip Coupons worth Rs 5600 and Zoom Car Voucher worth Rs 2200) on buying the Huawei P30 Pro.
