Huawei is reportedly working on a new smartphone under the codename “Sophia”. According to a leaked document, the smartphone dubbed Ascend P7 is going to be a major upgrade from the Ascend P6, and will sport a 5-inch 1080p HD LCD display.
The smartphone will be powered by a HiSilicon Balong 910 chipset with quad-core 1.6GHz CPU and 2GB of RAM. It will come with 16GB of built-in storage, expandable via microSD card slot.
The Ascend P7 is said to come with a 13MP rear camera, 8MP front camera and powered by a 2460mAh battery. The smartphone runs Android with Huawei’s EmotionUI 2.0 on top.
The Ascend P7 is expected to be available in April next year. There’s no word on the pricing as yet.
