HTC to reportedly unveil One M9 on March 1

HTC has sent out invites to media outlets for a March 1 event where the company is most likely to officially announce its latest flagship phone.

HTC is gearing up for a pre-MWC March 1 event where the company is speculated to unveil its latest flagship smartphone, dubbed as the HTC One M9 aka HTC Hima. The invite sent out to media outlets doesn't hint much about the announcement, and only says “utopia in progress”.

According to recent rumours, HTC's latest flagship phoen – HTC One M9 – will be powered by 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM. It will feature a 5-inch full HD display and Andreno 430 GPU. The phone will come with 20.7MP rear and 13MP  cameras. The new flagship is expected to run Android 5.0.1 out of the box with Sense UI 7.01 on top of it.

Earlier speculations said HTC would reveal the flagships at the CES. However, the company unveiled new Desire smartphones – 320 and 820. The HTC Desire 320 has a 4.5-inch FWVGA display with 480 x 854 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 1.3GHz MediaTek quad-core processor with 512MB of RAM. It runs on Android 4.4 KitKat OS with HTC Sense UI on top. The smartphone will also feature HTC Blinkfeed for combining content from news and social media sites to the smartphones home screen

The HTC Desire 826 has a 5.5-inch full HD display. It is powered by a  64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 615 processor along with 2GB of RAM. The smartphone features  13-megapixel rear and an UltraPixel front camera for better seflies. The Desire 826 also features BoomSound speakers with Dolby Audio . The smartphone is powered by a 2600 mAh battery.
