Earlier today, HTC teased that the upcoming flagship will have "World’s first, World Class, front and back" cameras.

HTC is gearing up to announce the next flagship which will be replacing the One M9. While alleged images of the phone have already been leaked several times in the past few months, HTC has started teasing the phone. In a tweet shared by HTC, the company states “World First, World Class, Front and Back. You’ll see. #powerof10”. Rumours suggest that the company might announce the phone on April 19, but there are no official dates yet.

The HTC One M10 or HTC 10, whatever it may be called, has been covered extensively in leaks. According to previous reports, the phone is likely to have a 12MP ultrapixel camera and a 5MP front-facing camera. The rear camera is suggested to have a f/1.9 aperture. HTC’s Chief Financial Officer, Chialin Chang, suggested earlier that the company’s future products may come with a “compelling” camera experience. That said, previous HTC flagship phones didn't have a very good camera which makes HTC’s current claims a bit overrated.

As for other specifications, the HTC 10 is rumoured to feature a 5.1-inch display offering 2560 x 1440p resolution. It is expected that the phone will be powered by a Snapdragon 820 SoC, which is already being used by all latest flagships such as the Xiaomi Mi 5, LG G5 and the Sony Xperia X Performance. The phone expected to sport 4GB RAM and upto 64GB of storage. Previous image renders and leaks suggest that the phone might have a broader stance when compared to previous flagships, but might offer the characteristic brushed metal finish HTC is known for. The phone is more than likely to come with Android Marshmallow out of the box with a new version of the Sense UI layered on top of it.
