HTC Smart is built on Qualcomm’s Brew Mobile Platform. It is targeted at mass mobile consumers and employs the HTC’s patented Sense interface, which is also available on many of the manufacturer’s Windows Mobile and Android phones. It has many rich personalization features aimed at social networking and truly commands attention at a very affordable price of Rs. 9,990.
The multitude of goodies include a 3MP camera with fixed focus, a 3.5mm jack, 2.8-inch TFT-LCD touch-sensitive screen, microSD slot and a mini-USB port for charging & connecting to a computer. Although HTC Smart is built to support quadband GSM, it presently has access only to 3G networks in Europe and Asia. HTC Smart is currently available for purchase at all major retail stores in India. A glance at the specifications chart should appeal the masses to grab a sub 10 grands touchscreen mobile without a second thought.
