The HTC One M10, codenamed Perfume, may be launched in two variants. One may be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820, while the other might be powered by a MediaTek processor. @LlabTooFeR, the one who tweeted these details, hasn’t mentioned which MediaTek SoC will be used and it could possibly be the Helio X20 processor. The company may sell the Snapdragon 820 powered variant in the US and Europe, while the Mediatek powered variant may be sold in China and South-East Asia. It has also been suggested that the phone may run Android Marshmallow v6.0.1 with HTC Sense 8.0 layered over it.
It was earlier believed that HTC would release its new flagship smartphone during the World Mobile Congress scheduled to be held in Barcelona in February. However, new rumours suggest that HTC may not launch the device during the event as the device is delayed. Reports say that high-ranking HTC officials have sent back prototypes of the device as they weren’t satisfied with the design of the phone. So it is possible that the upcoming phone will have a completely new design as compared to its predecessors. HTC may hold a separate event to unveil the phone in March, and the device may be available for purchase in April. The device is expected to feature a 23MP rear camera as well as a fingerprint scanner and a 3000mAh battery. It has also been tipped to come with IP68 certification which would make the device dust and water resistant.

It was also reported that HTC may be partnering with Google to launch 2016’s Nexus phones. According to the report, Google will continue the trend of launching two flagship phones and HTC may be making both devices. It also says that two phones will be available in 5-inch and 5.5-inch screen sizes. The current Nexus devices, the 5X and 6P, were manufactured by LG and Huawei respectively.
