HTC M7 inventory starts showing up with retailers in Europe

HIGHLIGHTS

If success could only be measured by the amount of rumors or leaks regarding a phone, the HTC M7 could pretty much be the smartphone of the first quarter. The M7 inventory listing has now been snapped by two websites, at two retailers across Europe.

We really cannot get away from HTC related news these days, can we? The latest is the information that the next HTC flagship phone is now showing up in the inventory list of certain retailers in Europe.

Pocket-Lint apparently has what it calls a screenshot of the Carphone Warehouse inventory, which shows the M7 in black and silver, along with a hard case and screen protector. It was not just this British firm that let slip of these updates. German website HTC Inside claims to have a screenshot of Vodafone’s inventory list that shows the HTC M7.

There were certain doubts about whether the M7 will be the actual name of the phone when it launches, but close to the heels of the HTC top boss screaming “M7! M7! M7!” excitedly at the HTC New Year party sometime back, it will be safe to assume HTC might actually go with that name.

Specifications of the M7 still remain unconfirmed, but it is expected that the phone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon Pro 1.7GHz quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, a 4.7-inch display, a 13MP camera and have Android 4.2 Jelly Bean onboard. We are also hearing that a completely face-lifted HTC Sense will arrive with the M7.

HTC will officially unveil the M7 on February 19.
