HTC's newest device, J Butterfly, takes all the high end features from the recently launched flagship phones One M9 and One M9+.

After having launched One M9 and One M9+, HTC has launched another high end smartphone – HTC J Butterfly. Available in Japan, the new HTC smartphone features polycarbonate body, measures 151×73×10.1mm, weighs 162g and has IP55/IP57 certification. HTC's J Butterfly has superior specifications than the recent HTC high end phones launched.

The HTC J Butterfly has a 5.2-inch Super LCD3 QHD display. It runs Android 5.0 Lollipop with HTC's Sense 7 custom and is powered by a Snapdragon 810 chipset coupled with 3GB of RAM. The phone comes with 32GB internal storage and supports additional storage via microSD. In the camera department, the Butterfly boasts of a 20.2MP DUO camera on the rear, supports 2160p video capture, and a 13MP front facing camera. It is powered by a 2,700mAh battery and comes with support for quick charging. For audio buffs, the phone offers HTC BoomSound. Connectivity options include LTE, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac, and NFC. Announcement of the HTC J Butterfly comes shortly after the company announced its new flagships HTC One M9 and One M9+. The One M9, like the J Butterfly, is powered by Snapdragon 810 chipset coupled with 3GB of RAM. However, it has a 5-inch full HD display. The smartphone has a 20MP camera at the back with a 4 Ultra Pixel camera at the front. It has a 2840 mAh battery. The HTC One M9+, which is available in India as well, sports a 5.2-inch Quad-HD display with 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core 2.2 GHz MediaTek Helio X10 processor with 3GB of RAM. It has 32GB of inbuilt storage expandable via microSD card slot up to 2 TB.

HTC also has a high end phone in its E series. The One E9 Plus has a 5.5-inch Quad-HD display. It is powered by a MediaTek helio X10 processor with 3 GB of RAM and runs Android 5.0 with HTC Sense 7 UI. The smartphone has a 20 MP rear camera and an ultra pixel front snapper. Connectivity options included in the One E9 Plus are dual-SIM support, 4G LTE, NFC, Bluetooth, USB and WiFi.
