Are you also desperately waiting for the upcoming Windows Phone Mango-powered mobile phones? Well, your wait finally ends, though not fully. Germany-based website HTCInside has posted an image which could be the HTC’s first Windows Phone 7.1 based phone, HTC Eternity.
Anticipations for the Windows based phone grew soon after Microsoft announced an update to its Windows phone software. The Windows platform is also considered to be an attempt by Microsoft to catch up in the smartphone race presently dominated by Google and Apple. The updated platform comes with more than 500 new features that includes mobile version of IE 9, automated Facebook check-ins, access to over 17,000 downloadable apps and so on.

The report further claims the launch of the HTC Eternity and Windows Phone 7.1 Mango is due for the month of September this year. The HTC Eternity comes with a big 4.7-inch Super LCD display at a resolution of 480 x 800. The smartphone is expected to have a single-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm MSM8255processor.
Some of the other features of the smartphone are 8MP rear camera with dual LED flash, 1.3MP front-facing camera, memory of 16GB, 512MB RAM and 720p video recording. It is also expected to have DLNA capabilities along with WiFi, Bluetooth, digital compass, gyroscope and so on.
