HTC has finally launched the HTC Sensation in India, just a week after it featured online on Letsbuy.com, as we predicted. The launch of the Sensation marks the arrival of the third dual-core phone in India, preceded by the LG Optimus 2X, and the Sensation’s direct competitor – the Samsung Galaxy S II. HTC has priced the device at Rs. 32,700 (MRP), about the same as the Galaxy S II’s Rs. 32,890 launch price. Both phones should be available for roughly Rs. 30,000 in the market.
The device is the Taiwanese phone maker’s flagship phone, featuring a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 768MB of RAM, and a 4.3-inch Super LCD with an outstanding 960×540 pixel resolution and 16:9 ratio, perfect for those widescreen movies. We are sure we don’t need to get further into the specifications of the device – we’ve covered the phone extensively in the past few months.
