HTC Desire P officially announced; no word on Desire Q
HTC has added another Android smartphone to its Desire portfolio, the Desire P. the smartphone shows off a 4.3-inch display and a 1GHz dual-core processor.
The HTC Desire P and the Desire Q were leaked online a few days ago. Now HTC has confirmed the existence of the Desire P. There is still no word on the Desire Q but information online suggests that it will be announced in the near future.
The Desire P on the other is present on the HTC Taiwan official website. In terms of its specifications, the Desire P has a 4.3-inch Super LCD2 display. It has a 1GHz dual-core processor powered by the Qualcomm MSM8225 Snapdragon S4 Play chipset. It also houses the Adreno 203 GPU along with 768MB of RAM.
The rear of the Desire P has an 8MP shooter with WVGA video recording capabilities. It has 4GB built-in storage expandable up to 32GB via a microSD card. There is no information available about the OS version. The smartphone is expected to have either Android 4.0 ICS or 4.1 Jelly Bean. The Desire P will be available soon in Taiwan for $365 (Rs. 19,800 approx.). There is no information about the global availability of the Desire P.
