HTC Desire C officially launches in India at Rs. 14,999 (MOP)

HTC has officially launched its Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich-based Desire C smartphone in India with MOP of Rs. 14,999. The HTC Desire C features HTC Sense 4.0, Beats Audio technology and a powerful battery.
HTC of late has launched quite a few smartphones in the country including the HTC One S, One V and One X. Its first dual-SIM Android smartphone, Desire V, was recently spotted at online shopping site Flipkart with a price tag of Rs. 21,999.
HTC had announced the Desire C last month. The Desire C comes with Android 4.0 ICS OS, straight out of the box. The device has a 3.5-inch capacitive touchscreen with 320×480 pixels resolution. The Desire C is powered by a Snapdragon S1 600MHz processor, with 512MB RAM, Sense 4.0 UI on top of Ice Cream Sandwich. For audio enthusiasts, the device comes with HTC's Beats Audio technology.

Rest of the specifications of the HTC Desire C include a 5MP F/2.8 rear camera, 4GB of built-in storage expandable via microSD (up to 32GB), 2 years of free Dropbox 25GB cloud storage, and a 1,230 mAh battery.
For connectivity, the HTC Desire C supports 3G with 7.2Mbps HSDPA, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n with hotspot, Bluetooth 4.0 with A2DP, and USB 2.0. The device is available in two colours – black and red. There is also a NFC variant of the model.
