HTC Desire 830 with 5.5-inch FHD display, BoomSound launched in Taiwan

HTC has launched the Desire 830 smartphone in Taiwan. The device is priced at TWD 9,990 (approx. Rs. 20,600) and comes with HTC’s BoomSound speakers. The phone also comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD display and is powered by MediaTek’s HelioX10 SoC with 3GB of RAM. At the back of the device is a 13MP primary camera with Optical Image Stabilisation, while at the front is a 4MP UltraPixel camera. The device is equipped with a 2800mAh battery and 32GB of storage that can be expanded by up to 128GB.
Besides the Desire 830, the company also launched the Desire 825 smartphone at TWD 7,990 (appro. Rs. 16,400). The HTC Desire 825 was earlier unveiled at MWC 2016 alongside the Desire 630, Desire 530, and One X9 smartphones. The Desire 825 comes with a 5.5-inch HD display and is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon processor with 2GB of RAM. The device sports a 2700mAh battery and 16GB of storage. At the back of the device is a 13MP primary camera, while at the front is a 5MP camera. The phone runs Android Marshmallow v6.0 with HTC Sense layered over it. In addition, the device comes with HTC’s BoomSound technology.
