HTC has introduced a new version of its Desire 820 smartphone. The new smartphone, called Desire 820s, features a 64-bit 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6752 processor and Mali-T760 GPU.
Rest of the specifications of the Desire 820s are identical to the original Desire 820. The Desire 820 features 5.5-inch display, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, BoomSound speakers, 13MP rear and 8MP front cameras, and LTE connectivity.
The HTC Desire 820 was launched in India in September this year along with a less powerful version – Desire 820q. The Desire 820 features Qualcomm's new 64-bit Snapdragon 615 SoC and Adreno 405 GPU. HTC hasn't yet announced pricing or availability of the smartphone outside China. However, we expect the company to launch the less expensive version of the Desire 820 in India as well.
