HTC is reportedly working on a new mid-range smartphone, dubbed as the Desire 8.
New reports about the new HTC smartphone emerged after the company on its Weibo account published a teaser image of the phone. The new HTC phone appears to have plastic body, with a volume rocker and lock button on the right-hand edge.
According to previous reports, the Desire 8 will be a mid-range dual-SIM smartphone. It will be sporting a 5.5-inch display (resolution yet unknown). Other expected features in the smartphone are 13MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, stereo front-facing speakers and on screen buttons. The HTC Desire 8 is expected to be released at the MWC 2014.
Besides the mid-range Desire 8, HTC is rumoured to launch its next flagship smartphone, dubbed as the One 2 a.k.a One . The new HTC flagship may come with twin cameras and dual-LED flash, 5-inch 1080p display, Snapdragon 800 chipset, 2GB RAM and twin UltraPixel cameras (resolution unknown but expected to be over 4MP).
