HTC Desire 600 dual-SIM Android smartphone goes official
Latest dual-SIM Android smartphone from HTC has 4.5-inch display and quad-core processor.
HTC has officially pulled the covers off the Desire 600, a dual-SIM smartphone that runs Android Jelly Bean and Sense 5 UI, the same interface that’s on the HTC One. HTC has revealed that the Desire 600 will be launched in Russia, Ukraine and the Middle East first, starting early June followed by a global rollout. HTC hasn’t said anything about the Desire 600’s price.
The HTC Desire 600 is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor clocked at 1.2GHz, 1GB RAM and an Adreno 203 GPU. The Desire 600 has a 4.5-inch Super LCD2 display with a resolution of 960×540 pixels, 8GB of internal storage and an 1,860mAh battery. Imaging is taken care of by an 8MP primary camera that can shoot 720p videos and a 1.6MP front-facing camera. Some connectivity options include Wi-Fi and 3G support along with Bluetooth 4.0 compatibility. Like the HTC One, the Desire 600 also sports dual BeatsAudio BoomSound speakers.
There is no word yet on an Indian launch date and we will keep you updated when details are released. We expect the phone to cost anywhere between Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 30,000 but that’s not official yet, either.
