HTC Desire 310 with quad-core MediaTek processor makes brief appearance
HTC Desire 310 seems to be a budget smartphone and is likely to be launched in emerging markets.
HTC’s new Android smartphone – Desire 310 – made a brief appearance on the company’s European site before getting pulled. According to the listing, the Desire 310 is an Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean-based smartphone, running 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582M chipset processor along with 512MB of RAM.
Also considered as the successor to Desire 300, the HTC Desire 310 measures 131.44 x 68.03 x 11.25mm and weighs about 140 grams. It sports a 4.5-inch display with a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels. It has 5MP rear camera, VGA front camera and 4GB of built-in storage, expandable via microSD.
The HTC Desire 310 is powered by a 2,000 mAh battery. The smartphone will be available in black and white colour variants. There’s no official word on the pricing and availability of the smartphone.
