HTC Desire 310, 4.5-inch quad-core smartphone available online for Rs. 11,350
Priced at Rs. 11,350, the HTC Desire 310 is evidently aimed at the budget segment and will compete against the likes of Moto G in the Indian market.
HTC’s Desire 310 is now available in India via e-commerce site Snapdeal for Rs. 11,350. Snapdeal promises to deliver the smartphone within three business days. The HTC Desire 310 supports dual-SIM (GSM GSM), runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Cortex-A7 Mediatek MT6582M processor along with 1GB of RAM.
The HTC Desire 310 sports a 4.5-inch display with 480 x 854 pixels resolution. The smartphone has 5MP primary camera and VGA front camera. The smartphone has 4GB built-in storage, expandable storage up to 32GB via microSD. For connectivity, the Desire 310 supports 2G, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi hotspot, microUSB v2.0 and Bluetooth 4.0. A 2,000 mAh battery powers the smartphone.
HTC’s new Desire smartphone will compete with a range of budget quad-core smartphones such as the Moto G, Samsung Galaxy Grand Quatro and Lenovo Ideaphone A706.
HTC has just announced its new flagship smartphone the One M8, featuring 5-inch full HD display, 2.5 GHz quad-core Krait CPUs and UltraPixel Duo camera. Apart from the high end segment, HTC is targeting the mid and budget segments with its Desire range.
At the recently held MWC 2014, the company showcased Desire 816 and Desire 610 mid-range smartphones. Both the smartphones are expected to be available across Asia and Europe by April this year.
