HTC might launch the HTC Desire 10 Pro tomorrow. The company has already sent out press invites for an event tomorrow where it plans to showcase its "latest innovation in sound and camera." While the invite doesn’t specifically mention the Desire 10 pro, it features gold metal rims that were seen on the Desire 10 Pro. It has also listed the Desire 10 Pro on its India website.
In September 2016, the company had first unveiled the Desire 10 pro along with the Desire 10 Lifestyle, both featuring matte finish bodies and metallic gold contours on the front and back. Subsequently the company launched the Desire 10 Lifestyle in late September, leaving the Desire 10 Pro that was slated for a November 2016 launch.
The device sports a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080p) IPS display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. The device runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow, under HTC’s Sense UI. The camera setup includes a 20MP rear camera of f/2.2 aperture with LED flash and laser autofocus; and a 13MP front camera of f/2.2 aperture. Connectivity options on the device include dual-SIM card slots, 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi 802.11n, Bluetooth 4.2 and GPS. All this is backed by a 3,000mAh battery.
The Desire 10 Pro will be encased in a metal frame with a plastic body, and will offered in four color variants – stone black, polar white, royal blue and valentine lux. Much like the flagship the company’s flagship smartphone the HTC 10, the device sports 24-bit Hi-Res audio and Dolby-enhanced BoomSound speakers. The company is expected to announce the price tag for the new device at the launch event.
The HTC Desire 10 Lifestyle was priced at Rs 15,990. The smartphone featured a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 SoC coupled with 2GB/3GB RAM and 16GB/32GB of internal storage. The camera setup includes a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front facing camera.
