HTC has started rolling out the Android 8.0 Oreo update for its HTC 10 smartphone. The OTA update is being seeded in phases and alongside the core Android Oreo features, it also brings support for Jio VoLTE on the device. The HTC 10 was launched running Android 6.0 Marshmallow in April 2016 and later in February last year, it was updated to Android 7.0 Nougat.
The company tweeted out the news and asked users to check for the update, which weighs 1.43GB in size. Its version is 3.18.400.2 and it updates the device’s stability with some enhancements as well. One can manually check if their HTC 10 has received the update by navigating to Software updates under About tab in Settings. Also, it can only be updated over Wi-Fi. The new update will bring a slew of new Oreo features to the smartphone such as Picture-in-Picture (PiP) mode, new notification dots, new quick settings menu, Autofill and more.

The company has already seeded the Oreo update for the U11 which sported the version 1.27.400.9 and weighs in at around 665MB. It updated the device with support for 1080p video recording at 60 frames per second.
The company recently launched its 'Vive Business Edition' VR headset in India priced at Rs 1,26,990. It is available for purchased from Amazon and imol.in and is aimed at providing additional services for organisations and business. You can read more about the device here.
